Kappa Kappa Psi works in cooperation with many other organizations.

Alpha Theta's Connections
CNAfME
The National Association for Music Education's UNC chapter and Alpha Theta happily coexist together. The current leadership of both organizations are planning to work on events and socials for the combined groups.

ACDA
The American Choral Directors Association chapter at UNC works to create opportunities for future choir directors. ACDA and Alpha Theta co-run a beginning of the year tour of our music building.

JEN
The Jazz Education Network works to serve UNC's renowned jazz program through clinics, shows, gigs, and running the UNC/Greeley Jazz Fest. Many Brothers of Kappa Kappa Psi participate in the jazz program and are afforded the opportunity to work with JEN.

National Connections
Tau Beta Sigma
This is Kappa Kappa Psi's sister sorority. The Alpha Alpha chapter used to be located at UNC, until the two chapters were combined into one coed group due to small membership. Our organizations share leaders at the National level, share publications, and support each other in the cause of serving the bands.

Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia
This fraternity exists to develop the best and truest fraternal spirit, mutual welfare and brotherhood of music students, the advancement of music in America, and loyalty to the Alma Mater.

Kappa Kappa Psi and Phi Mu Alpha Joint Statement:
"We believe that there are important roles for both Kappa Kappa Psi and Phi Mu Alpha to fill on the many campuses where chapters of the two organizations now exist or will exist in the foreseeable future. We discourage mutual exclusivity of membership and disavow the existence of any interpretation of national policy requiring such exclusivity within either organization.

We believe that each group must recognize its own inherent inability to fill the other's role yet acknowledge in each other an undeniable similarity of purposes. Such awareness leads to the fostering of mutual cooperation and, we believe, will aid in the attainment of our respective goals."
